Future Projects
Associação Amigos dos Animais (AdA) is restructuring its operating model to enable income generation from the new Animal Care Centre facilities -opposed to a model that relies exclusively on fundraising and donations to sustain the operational costs of its Animal Rescue, Rehabilitation and Care Services.

We are delighted to announce that António Emilio Leite Couto, better known as Mia Couto, has agreed to become a speaker of our new Campaign for Animal Rights.
Mia Couto is a biologist and one of the most important writers in Mozambique. He won many awards. He also wrote about animals in the format of short stories and is a children's writer too.
"All over the world, children learn stories about animals that transmit to us the values of generosity, mutual help, and unconditional love. Animals teach us to be more human."
